Happy New Year! :-)

This Year we got off on the right foot. For starters Emmanuel was on vacation so we did a few cool things.
We went to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. There were a lot of things to, we visited the Interactive Exhibits, Melody and Isaac climbed the rock wall. Learned about Tornadoes, cloud rings, earthquakes and much, much more!

We also visited the Dino Quest, we went on a scavenger hunt to learn more about the Dinosaurs! This was especially fun for Melody.

For Emmanuel there was also lots fun activity's (ha,ha,ha) They had a Star Wars Exhibit, he was so cute walking around showing Melody and Isaac all the characters (and to my surprise Melody is a big fan of Star Wars! ...When did this happen!?) But overall this was such an awesome day of laughter and fun family time!

Merry Christmas!

Another great year is about to end, wow how time fly's. Christmas is here and gone, and once again we had lots of fun. I really enjoy the time we spend with our family. Our get together's are a real blast!We actually made a Ginger Bread House for the first time. Melody was really in to it, she loved every minute of it.

Ivan, Yadi and Ivansito were a part of this years get together, and man! they never disappoint! We really enjoy having them over!

Oh gosh, my little boy is growing so fast its unbelievable. A few days ago I got up and was doing laundry when I heard Isaac say "mama...mama". So I run to the bedroom and he is sitting in the middle of the bed rubbing his eyes, and as soon as he sees me he gives me the biggest smile ever! He totally made my day.

Later that week I taught him how to go downstairs...priceless. Let me explain, Isaac learned how to climb upstairs last month (at about 7 1/2 months) and I figured I teach him how to go downstairs, I moved his little but so that he backs up and goes down in reverse. Only showed him twice and BAM! He's a Pro. Love my little munchkin!

Oh and here he is wow-ing us again by rocking out on the drum set! :-)

Zoya, QTica...uh yeah!

I decided to do my nails with Zoya nail polish...and I love it! Usually nail polishes are around $2-$5 bucks depending on the brand right? Well the Zoya ones are $8 and well worth it! the color goes on very smooth very clean.

I first file my nails with a 4 way buffer block (side 1: even out, side 2: smooth nail, side 3: buff Nail and side 4: Shine nail) I'm impressed this buffer block really works.

I then applied one coat of the QTica "Natural Nail Growth stimulator" I just used it so I can't really say too much about it except that it has a great shine to it.

Finally I did 3 coats of the Zoya nail polish called "Daphne" Its a very clean fresh color. It reminds me a lot of Kim Kardashian's nails.

Isaac Emmanuel...is HERE!!

Wow! I can't believe his finally here!
God is sooo sooo good to us, I can't even begin to describe it.

It all began on Sunday March 6 at 4:40am, I started to have contraction that were irregular and about 7-10 min apart. At around 3:00pm Sunday, we decided to go to the hospital. They went ahead and checked me and said I was only 1 to 2 centimeters open and to go home and waited out a bit longer.

I kept having contractions that entire day I just kept rocking in my chair waiting for the contractions to hit! At around 8pm I decided to walk around the house, I walked and walked and walked (only stopping to pee) even through my contractions. At 2am I decided it was time, with every contraction I felt a small urge to push!. Emmanuel and I went to Melody rooms kissed her, told my parents(they got there in the afternoon to help us watch Melody) we were leaving and off we went! We were feeling happy/excited/nervous and pain all at the same time!

We arrived to the hospital at 2:40am the nurse checked me and said "Your open 8cm" followed by her telling another nurse "CALL DR.VU!!" She then started to put the IV. I told Emmanuel to go to the car and bring all of our stuff since this was it. He left the room at around 2:55am. About 5 min after he left MY WATER BROKE! and suddenly a strong urge to push followed, after that everything happend sooo fast! the nurse screams "CALL DR.VU, CALL DR.VU!!!" She then started to wheel my bed in to another room. In the back of my mind I thought "OMG, Emmanuel's gonna miss this!" BUT he didn't he got there about 3 min later and the Dr. was there in like 5 min (witch at the time it felt like an eternity!) I kept asking the nurses "Where is the Dr.? Is she home? is she here in the hospital? WHERE IS SHE?"

Once the Dr. got there I pushed FOUR TIMES and Isaac Emmanuel was OUT! and the very happy and excited proud Daddy cut the umbilical cord.

He was born Monday March 7,2011 at 3:37am weighing 6lbs 9oz 19.5" long

Proof Is In His Actions, Not Just His Words

I start this blog by asking myself, how did I get so lucky? Lucky to have such a great
man that's kind, considerate, caring, and listens. He’s always interested in what’s going on with me.We talk every day I mean we have real conversations. Emmanuel is always available for me. He always makes time for me.

I believe in reaping what you sow (Galatian 6:7-8) I believe that good things will happen
to you if you have shown kindness to others. However, with this pregnancy my hormones have been out of control and I've been sooo moody,
but still he showers me with love and affection especially during the
times when I really need it (like when my Pregnancy hormones go all crazy!)

He has a steady job and provides for his family. He helps around the house,
even sometimes he actually does more chores than me. He does not smoke nor
drink. He loves his family and MY family, and that is rare nowadays. Oh and did I mention he's the most intelligent person I know?

I just feel very blessed to know that I married this amazing man who loves me just the way I am.I love you so much, baby!

God gave me the best man ever as my husband!!!!

A New Addition To The Family

Happy to share with friends and family that we are expecting our second child! Only 4 weeks until my due date… and that means only 2 weeks until I'm “full-term”. (Since babies are born on average between 38 and 42 weeks, they use 40 weeks as your due date, but the average baby is fully ready anytime after 38 weeks).

Time is flying by! I’m excited for baby Isaac to be here, but at the same time I am in no rush for the pregnancy to be over. I have loved every single second of this incredible and miraculous time (even my first trimester, were I could not get out of bed and was nauseous the entire 3 months!). I love my big huge belly and I am going to miss it when it’s gone. We are extremely excited and can't wait to hold him. Melody is very excited about having a baby brother; she talks about Isaac everyday!

On Saturday Emmanuel and I decided to get some belly shots(Belly shots at 35 weeks), I'm now 36 weeks (so we decided to take pictures before I pop! :-D) and we wanted to share! We took this at our home and Melody got in on all the action.

To celebrate Melody's 3rd birthday Emmanuel and I took her to Disneyland. We had so much fun!

We arrived at around 10:30am and left after 8pm and got to ride a quite a few rides including, Dumbo,Snow white, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan and the Tea Cups! It was a lot of fun. We are so proud of her!

A Girl, An Ice Show, And A Movie

This week has been a very fun and exciting one. We saw "Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy," and to say that our Disney on Ice experience was magical would be an understatement, I had no idea it would be soooo much fun! We also took Melody to see her first movie at a theater. No question it had to be "Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" as...how can you question singing and dancing chipmunks?

She was very well behaved at both places. At Disney on Ice, she barely moved and had her eyes wide open the entire time...seriously, she didn't blink at all! While watching the movie, she stood up to dance and sing along with the Chipettes to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" song. It was so cute! We feel so happy and very blessed to have a beautiful daughter like Melody! Yes, that's the proud parent in me talking. We love you Melody!

Wow! There's so much to be thankful for this year!

Our Christmas was so much fun. This was our first Christmas in our new home and the first time we've had Ivan and Yadi (and their little "girl" Pixie) over.
Hector and Reyna (our other party couple) arrived early that day and, although they couldn't stay for the late-night festivities, they made our day extra fun! It was great to have them all over and for them to be a part of The Morales Family Christmas tradition!

Melody Get's a Haircut

It took me 2 years to give Melody her first "official" haircut. All along, I had cut her bangs a little, but never the back of her hair.I was so excited and nervous! But things went so smoothly we were in and out in about 10-15 minutes! Of course it helped that we were the only ones there. Norma my stylist(like always) was friendly and did such a great job on cutting/styling her hair. I really trust Norma with my hair and now it was time for Melody to follow in Mommy's footsteps! I'm so proud of her! God gave us such a good girl! I just feel so blessed!!!!

Melody had a great time at her 2nd Birthday party! It was a Tinkerbell theme party with her as Tinkerbell! :) We had a lot of fun and a lot of our friends and Family were there to help celebrate with us!

Melody...She asked to go Pee Pee!!!

At exactly 12:16am tonight, Melody came to me and began pointing at her diaper while saying "Pee pee pee" so I asked her, "Momma, you want to pee?" She nodded with her head. I then took her to her potty and what do you know, she peed! Keep in mind she is only 19 months and pretty much learning by example. Following Melody's great accomplishment, we did a celebratory "pee pee dance." We are soooo, soooo (did I say soooo?) proud of her!

Exciting Weekend!

This weekend was a very busy one for us! Saturday we took Melody to the beach for the first time! It just melts my heart to see her so happy and enjoying her self! Redondo beach has a chuck e cheese type place as well and she bowled and got to shoot some whoops with her daddy and she even got to ride a pony (not a real one this time). She totally loved the ocean, It amazes me how much she understands and to see her face...I loved it.

On Sunday we Spent a few hours finalizing our new home options/upgrades. So many choices! Round or squared tub, pointy or round wall edge, color of cabinets, counter tops, rug and floor. Style of toilet, walls and stairs. So many choices made our head's spin! But we are very happy with our choices.

Also we saw 3 movies this weekend and well here are my reviews:

"Marley and Me": Great Family movie! It made me cry. I don't want to give to much away but out of 5 stars this one gets 5.

"Bolt": hmm, well Melody and Emmanuel enjoyed it, I thought it was ok this one gets 3 stars.

"Doubt": I just want to say I love Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman, but this movie get 2 little stars!! very boring.

Emmanuel and I are in the process of watching "Alexander" I keep falling asleep. Not because its boring or long! but because we usually watch it really late and I end up falling asleep. I bought it for $5 so I will update you guys on this movie later :)

Santa Anita Park, A Race to Remember

We had a great time at Santa Anita Park on Sunday. It was Melody's very first trip there. She absolutely loved it. We didn't win BIG like we had hoped, ha ha, but it was a lot of fun.

Emmanuel, Melody, Ivan, Yadi, my Aunt and Uncle, and myself of course, sat in a nicely shaded booth, or box seats as they are called. Thank God, because it was TOO hot to be standing around. At times, the gentle murmur of the crowds grew to a thunderous roar as the horses steadily approached the finish line! The excitement built up until it could not be contained by those witnessing this marvelous feat of sportsmanship. The people were standing now. Horse and Jockey pressed on with sheer determination as the crowds cheered them on. Foot by foot they got closer, one horse ahead of the other. Who would it be? Would we emerge victoriously? Wait a minute, am I cheering for the right horse? And just as quick as it had started, it was all over. Only a few winners would be declared while others both broke and disappointed stormed away. Luckily we were the former and we survived to play another round. Yay!

Santa Anita Park also had a lot of nice things for children. Certain weekends are designated as part of their Family Day Fun events and this happened to be one of them. Melody got her face painted, we chose a butterfly for her, and we took her on a pony ride. She did real good! Sorry, I can't help being biased ;) But I'm not kidding. She was so good that she impressed the staff and other parents who were waiting in line as she sat very still throughout the whole face-painting process. Everyone looked on as if their own child was sitting on that chair and even gave Melody a round of applause and cheers when the painting was done. We were so proud of her!

Paul Rodriguez was also there, you might ask "Why didn't you take a picture with him" WEll, Let me tell you why!!! As we were cashing out on one of the races Yadi grabs me and tells me "Mari, ahi esta!! Miralo Paul Rodriguez!!!" So I got excited and nervouse, he was about 10ft away. So my reaction was to scream"Paul!!" and of course he turns and I said "can I take a picture with you?" and he signals to go to him. I suddenly turn to Yadi so that we can take a picture with him all I see is her DUST!! Yes her dust, she ran out of the building and a few feet away she was just laughing! Then when I turn to look at Paul Rodriguez...He was GONE!! so, Thank you Yadi!!

Anyway other than that everything was fantastic. We stoped at there house after the horse race's to "keep the party going :)" and who do we see there? Pixie, a very cute dog that Melody loved to play with, but of course I will post the pictures so you can check it out!!!

We bought a new home...TODAY!!!

We are ecstatic!!! I want to start by thanking GOD! He's been very good to us, also to all of our family and friends who helped us pray(you guys know who you are) After five and a half months of searching for the right home, we finally found it!! Or did we? Well, technically it doesn't exist yet. Our home will be built-to-order! Wow, I still can't believe it. We chose lot #44, a corner lot on a hill with a view of the mountains.

It is a 2 level home, 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 Baths. One room is downstairs (Emmanuel's home office), a restroom, living room, and kitchen. The upstairs has a loft, master bedroom with a walk-in closet and our bathroom as well. Two proportionately sized bedrooms, one with a walk-in closet to boot, and a laundry room! It's gorgeous!

We chose the layout today and tomorrow we'll be going to the show room to choose the color of the carpet, floor, doors, sink, cabinets and counter tops.

The house should be ready in about 4 months which means we're looking at an August - September time frame for move-in! Wow!

Ivan and Yadi's wedding day

Friday the 20th I was very glad to be a part of such a memorable event! My cousin Yadi's Wedding. Yadi and I grew up together, and now I'm very happy she found such a great person like Ivan. He has been a very close friend's with Emmanuel and we just appreciate him very much! We gladly welcome him to the family :)

They actually got married at there house which was very nice. There Wedding party was going to be the next day in Mexicali (which we couldn't go :( ) , but I got a few snap shots of the bride in her gown ;) before the big day!!

My trip to the Ellen Degeneres Show!!!!

Today was a very exciting day! I went to the Ellen show and we had so much fun. It was a crazy fun experience to be in the audience. My girls Yanira and Odalys came early this morning to pick me up and then we were on our way to Burbank for the taping of the show. We went to several shops by the Warner Brother's Studio to kill some time. We went into a bridal store where Eva Longoria and Jenny Garth shop all the time. I pretended to be engaged and Yanira and Odalys were my "brides maids" (ha, ha, ha). Then, we went to Cinema Secrets Beauty Supply and there we were just being silly!!!

Now, the real reason why we were there of course was to see Ellen. So, after a few hours of waiting and going through a tough inspection process it was time for the show!! It will air Monday January 12 at 4pm on NBC. If you're familiar with her show, you'd know that at the beginning of the show she dances and goes through the aisles. So, as she danced closer to me and stopped at about 3 feet from me, she LOOKED IN MY EYES FOR 2 WHOLE SECONDS!! WOW, I immediately melted! She is SO beautiful (Disclaimer: I'm not a lesbian)! During one of the commercials while we were all standing up and dancing and as I was looking at Ellen she also looked my way, so I decided to waive to her and guess what?...AGAIN she looked STRAIGHT AT ME AND WAIVED BACK!! Now, if all of this wasn't enough we got $100 gift cards from TARGET which is also my favorite store in the world!!! I can't wait 'til next season!

By the way, cameras are not allowed inside the studio so I don't have pictures of my BFF Ellen...sorry. I hope you enjoy the ones I'm posting though.

Hello everyone,
It's 2:11am and I just had to blog about our wonderful Christmas Eve Party. We had a lot of food!! Taquitos, Enchiladas, Tamales and Cupcakes!but you really won't notice everything I ate til 3 or 4 days from now when I can't fit in to my "skinny jeans" ha,ha,ha. I'm just so blessed to have such great family. We all recieved great gift(ok, I don't know about the rest but I loved all of mine he,he,he) and we just a great time :D. Melody's Dr. Visit

Today Emmanuel and I took Melody to The Dr. for her 12month check up. My pour little baby!!!! She did very good. They gave her FIVE shots, 2 in one leg and 3 on the other. One of them was the flue shot. Not only that, they also had to draw blood!!! :( But she is such a strong baby, in no time she was back to smiling happy self again!!

Emmanuel and I have been teaching Melody how to brush her (2)teeth. It's so funny to see her try to do it on her own. She is good, but I think she loves it a little too much. Every morning and every night we go through the same routine with her so she gets used to brushing her teeth, and its always a struggle when it's time to put the toothbrush down! She always wants to continue to brush her teeth, she is so adorable! I posted some pictures of her in the October 08 Album check it out!

99 Balloons

     Today I watched Oprah. She had Celine Dion as a guest and the topic had to do with miracle babies. I was so touched with the segment that followed that, emotional as I was, I felt I had to share this story with you.

     Imagine for a moment that you were a child once again. And that your parents, being generous and loving people, rewarded you with a single balloon for every one of your achievements. I'm sure we'd all have a different answer as to the number of balloons we'd have collected being as different as we are! But what if your parents graded you on a completely different scale than what we're used to? That is, let's say that they didn't look at how high your GPA was or how well you did at sports (these things are merely superficial anyways), but instead they felt that your survival and well-being alone was merit enough for a reward. And that in their eyes, a single balloon was not just a token of their appreciation but a symbol for every passing day, as that conflictingly meant that both a day was lost and gained.

     That is in essence the story of "99 Balloons" told by a Dad on his blog whose son was born with Edwards syndrome. In the midst of heartbreaking tragedy, the Mooney family ultimately found the presence of God strengthening, comforting, and guiding them. Their story reminds us to seek God and endure our struggles rather than blame Him for our hardships. I hope that you feel the same way.

Melody's 1st Birthday!

On Saturday the 18th, we celebrated Melody's First Birthday for which we're extremely grateful towards the Lord. Having her in our lives this last year has been wonderful and very rewarding. She has really been a blessing as she has brought much joy and laughter to us.

     We've also realized how blessed we are to have such a great family who's always willing to show their love and share our joy by celebrating this memorable event with us. We were very excited to see them all!

     In case you were wondering, we have a lot of pictures to show you but we haven't had a chance to post them yet. Look for them soon though on my blog and on Melody's website. For the time being, and for our friends and family members who couldn't make it, here's a glimpse of that fun-filled day we had!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share this video of Melody walking! She has been giving 3 to 4 steps on her own for about 2 weeks now, but we really haven't been able to get it on video. So, yesterday I decided to grab my video camera and start recording. I don't know if you can tell but I was really excited that I was able to get Melody giving more than her usual few steps. Here is Melody showing off to the camera how ready she is for walking!

   Hey there everyone! I can't say this enough: I'm so thankful to God for how He has kept us safe and has allowed Melody to grow in so many ways. At eleven months, Melody is almost walking! I can hardly believe it! Yesterday, we went to Walmart and bought her this toy that is basically a walker, but for infants. She has been walking around the house from the moment Emmanuel put it together (see the photo above). At this rate, I feel she will be walking very soon!

     As a proud mother, I just want to let the whole world know what our little princess knows how to do already. She waives "Hi/Bye", throws kisses (but only when she feels like it), hums very softly when you sing a song to her (especially one that she likes!), and whenever she hears music (♪ ♪ ♪), she starts dancing and clapping to the beat!! So cute!

     There are a few other things she can do but I have to share with you a little background story. You see, when Melody was about 3 months old, we bought this Baby Sign Language kit to teach her to sign to us because we had read that it would help children communicate with their parents early on, or before learning to speak. So, after a few months of signing to her fervently and not seeing any results, being the impatient people that we are, we stopped signing so much to her. We thought this would be the end of it. But one day, out of the blue and to our surprise, she just started signing one of the signs that we had taught her! And now, not only has she not forgotten the sign, she also knows when and how to use it. Simply amazing! At this point, she now knows how to sign "Milk", "Light", "Fan","eat", "it's loud" and "All done" and everyday we teach her something new and she seems to be learning much faster. We are so proud of her!

     I have to say that although Melody has always been very alert about her surroundings, I think that communicating through the use of signs has increased her curiosity. One example of this is when she hears an airplane passing by. She will start pointing at the sky and won't stop pointing until you acknowledge her and the object that she is looking at, in this case the plane. She does the same but with different signing when she sees dogs, cats, spiders (yuk!), and balloons (she loves balloons!).

     Finally, I just want to share how Melody gets compliments all the time! I don't want to brag but...OK, YES, I do want to brag...let me brag! We find that no matter where we go, someone always comes up to us and tells us how beautiful Melody is and they often complement her hair, smile, and of course her big brown eyes. Septembers Here!!!

Wow, it feels like if I haven't bloged for years!!...But, It's only been a few weeks!!! So I will be posting the August album soon! My parent's took us to the city Fair last month, so check those pictures out.
Well this month we start off with Celebrating my cousin Danny's Birthday! and like always we had a lot of fun. I just love the family "get together's". I just can't believe how time goes by so quickly, most of us have our children and some of them running around...wow...It's crazy. Well moving on, at the party we had Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Birria, Rice, Beans, and much more!!! so it was great I will be posting pictures as well.
By the way Emmanuel,Hector, Michael,Yanira and I have started this poker night on fridays, and it is so much fun!! we just laugh like crazy!! I love it.
Last but not least I've been preparing for Melody's Party. She will be turning one next moth, so I just can't wait to see how everything is going to turn out!!!

Our little precious baby girl just turned 10 months today and we are just so thankful that she is a big,happy healthy beautiful girl!! God has been so good to us, everyday she learns new things and does cute things. At ten months she is crawling very fast, she walks holding on to furnisher. Goes through kitchen and restroom cabinets. she loves to clap,she hums when I sing to her. She just loves to point at everything she sees. Waives "bye" (sometimes, when she feels like it...ha,ha) She is such a handful, but its all worth it!!!

Baby Dedication

On Sunday the 10th we dedicated Melody at the Church!! I personally was so nervous. We have a church that holds about 2,000 members, so yeah I was very nervous but everything turned out very well! I will be posting a video of the dedication. In the video you see Melody very calm when Pastor Steve holds her, but then...Melody spots her grandma and oh yeah, she starts to cry and wants to go with her. I guess it didn't help that my mom was trying to get her attention, then started to call her!!!
After the service we went out to eat. We went to Garden Buffet and we just had a great time!!

July Fun

Hello to all my blog fans (all 4 of you, ha ha)I'm just updating you guys on our crazy fun July adventures!! Well we went to 2 Hawaiian birthday parties, my father in law's birthday breakfast mini party and we also went to The Imax theater to watch "The Dark Night". It was awesome!!

So we start with Yesenia's Birthday Party on the 19th. We had a lot of fun! There was so much food to choose from that my head was spinning (ha,ha)There was hamburgers, hotdogs, cocktel de camaron, subway, Fruit and Cake! It was a very fun exiting day. I will post a video of the kids hitting the Pinata and the fun the kids had. As we party the night away! Sandy and Guilbert gave us some great new THEIR PREGNANT!! we are so happy for them.

On the 26th we also attended another Hawaiian birthday party for Chanel Mariee. We ate tacos (very good!!) and had cake. It was a pool party so Melody got to show off her body!! ha,ha and she had a lot of fun. Once she got her bathing suit on she was a wild Mermaid!! She loves the water so it was very fun for her she also took a little break and took a nap on a Hammock. She looked so cute. Also check out pictures of Chanel eating her cake!!!

Sunday the 27th was my father in laws Birthday, so after church we took him out for breakfast to Acapulcos. That's he's favorite place, It was nice. We had the waiters come to the table and sing "Happy Birthday" to him. I will post some pictures!!

Last but not least! Emmanuel took Yanira and I to see "The Dark Night" in the Imax theater. It was the most wonderful experience. The screen is almost twice as big than a regular theater and the sound is so good! In some scenes where Batman is flying through Gotham City I felt like if it was ME flying through Gotham City!! It was so Cool. I definitely recommend this to EVERYONE!!

Emmanuel's Birthday

This past weekend we celebrated Emmanuel's twenty six birthday! it was fun we had birria, rice , beans and salad! we played Pin the tale on the donkey and hot potato!
WE all eat a lot!! Emmanuel got a lot of cool gift too, so he was really exited!! But on his actual birthday witch was the 8th Melody and I bought him a cake and sang "happy Birthday" to him at home!!

Well also an update on Melody, she turned 9months yesterday, the 14th and we just want to thank God for bringing her this far so healthy and Happy!!

I just wanted to share how much fun our 4th of July Weekend was, We went to The Aquarium of the pacific on Friday, we had so much fun! Melody was very observant and every time she would see us laughing she would laugh too!! Melody and I took a picture at the aquarium and it was up on the T.v's I started to film then Emmanuel tells me "No,babe you can't film or take a picture...read the signs" but I did a little bit so check that our!! We also visited this "Forest" there at the aquarium ware they had birds! That was so much fun because the birds would just fly on you!! So I'm also uploading a video of Emmanuel with the birds!! After our 3 hour tour of the aquarium we went to the "Outback Stake house" to have dinner, everything was delicious. After dinner we waited about an hour for the fireworks show to start at the Queen Marry!! It was cool but we were not close enough!! :) All in all we had a great 4th of July!!

Fun Weekend!

Hey everyone, Just a quick update on what's been going on with us, Well on Saturday Emmanuel and I went out on a date! I know It's been about a year since we last went out. So we left Melody at my mom's house, we love the price, Nothing an hour double for overtime...he,he,he. Emmanuel and I went to eat at a Japanese restaurant and it was delicious. After we went to the movies we saw "Get Smart" with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway. It was such a funny great movie...I just loved it!!

On Sunday we went to my mother in law's house and Emmanuel and Melody got wet in there new Swimming Pool. Melody just loved it she had so much fun, even thought she got sunburn, but she did really good!!! I will post a video of that day...enjoy!!

She Stand's and Crawls!!!

It's Official Melody can Stand on her own and also Crawl. A couple of weeks a go Emmanuel filmed her Standing up, and now she constantly does it!! She also had been creeping for a while that means "kind of crawling" but not really actually crawling, until a couple of days ago it happen all of a sudden. She looks so adorable! Man if I thought I had it hard before...I didn't know what I was talking about he,he. She is ALL OVER THE PLACE!! On the 1st day that she crawled I actually couldn't find her. I sat her in the middle of the living room with some toys, then I walked over to the restroom to shut the door (my restroom is literally like 10 feet away)and when I walked back I couldn't see her so of course I start yelling "Melody, Melody" and after like 3sec of sheer terror and Panic (I know 3 sec, he,he... still, very scary) I found her behind the rocking chair playing with a toy!!! So now I don't take my eyes off her, well at least I try! :D

Leslie's Birthday Party!!

This past weekend we went to Leslie's Birthday Party! We had a lot of Fun! We ate a lot, There was hamburgers, hot dogs, rice, salad, fruit and of course CAKE! I love to go to this events it's always fun to see all of my cousins!! ( Well, not all of them...Right Yadi?...he,he)
So I really loved the Theme of Leslie's party it was Hello Kitty. Everything was really nicely decorated and the food was great!.I posted a video of us singing "Happy Birthday" to Leslie...Check it out!

It's My Birthday...I'm 25 (but I look 15)

I just want to thank God for another amazing year! I just can't believe how fast time has flown by now that Melody is in our lives. So let me tell you a little bit about my day. Well, Emmanuel and I stayed up late (as usual) so exactly at 12:00am he came in to the room (as I was trying to put Melody to sleep for the night) singing "Happy Birthday" and holding a chocolate PUDDING! ha,ha,ha. After his song, he took away the pudding and said "Babe, it's to late to eat pudding, just eat it in the morning" (I don't even LIKE pudding!! he,he,he). A few hours later, 7:45am to be exact, my brother calls me and of course I was STILL sleeping!!! Then around 10:00am, my sister in-law Yanira calls to wish me a Happy Birthday!! I'm loving the attention so far. But it didn't stop there. Through out the day Emmanuel was calling me just to see how the "Birthday Girl" was doing. Yeah he is sweet like that!!

So come 3:00pm, I went over to my Mom and Dad's house for my little celebration. Par-tay!! We had Pozole and Coconut Cake and it was reeeeaaaal good!!(Thank God for my parent's. The best 2 people in the world!!). And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, right before leaving my parent's house, my Dad hands me a gift in a sealed envelope. Of course I opened it and guess what? It was $280!! I'd say that I had a VERY good day and not just because I became a hundred-aire in a day. ha,ha,ha. It was because I had a chance to celebrate this day with the ones I love. And that includes my little Princess who continuously makes me smile.

First Father's Day

So on Sunday (15th) we had a little Celebration for father's day and we had fun. We had Taquitos with guacamole,Lettuce,sour cream and salsa. We also made Jaiva...delicious!!
Since this was Emmanuel's first Father's day we OF COURSE had a lot of gift's for him. I will post some pictures of that day :). I also will post a video of Us playing Hot Potato! In the video you see Emmanuel and my Mother in law battling it out for 1st place he,he,he. After we gave out all the gift to the father's Emmanuel surprised me with a B-day gift...It was a Video Camera!!! I love it!! and My In-laws also gave me $50 and Chocolates!!! It was a very fun Day!!

I'm Loving June !

Just as I predicted, It has been a very busy month so far. I want to start off by saying that Melody took her first driving lesson he,he,he Not really but she like to be on the drivers seat and steer (Not when the car is on of course)Grandpa Luis was her instructor!!

On the 7th we took Melody to Wilderness Park in Downey and of course she loved it. So we get to the park and we pay top $$$ to go in (only $4)and Melody decides to sleep, so Emmanuel and I were just there trying to kill time taking pictures and discussing our future ( like how many more kids to have!!! He wants 3 more I say NO MORE!lol!) and just relaxing. So once Our Little Princess decided to wake up we had a lot of FUN!! I love going to the park!! And of course so does Melody she was looking at the ducks and smiling. She also loves when her Daddy has her fly in the air she's "Super-Girl" she really enjoys it. After the park we went over to my parents for a little BBQ. While we were there I decided it was "Picture Time" So I brought out my camera "Click" "Click" I took a hole lot of Pix's.

My Mom Melody and I went Fathers day shopping too!! Whew! that was hectic. That was a very busy day for us. We left the house around 10:40am and came back home til around 5:50pm We were soooo tired. But we know it will be worth it! Specially the gift that Melody will give her Dad!! I've been working hard on it, I'll post some pictures later. Emmanuel is very exited since this will be hes 1st Father's day!!!

A New Month

Well, It's a new month, my birthday is coming up so I'm exited!! I'm turning 25! Wow I never thought I would ever say "I'm 25" he he he! We are also celebrating Father's Day this month. This is going to be Emmanuel's first official Fathers Day with his "Little Princess" (as he calls her) by his side. Also this month we are invited to Leslie's 2nd birthday, so we are looking forward to that.
Melody will also turn eight months on the 14th...It's incredible how time goes by so fast. She is growing and she is more beautiful everyday! She is trying to get up on her own by holding on to furniture! she looks so cute!! But the month just started so we will see what she has in store for us!! ;)

Melody and Daddy
Hi Everyone, This is my 1st time bloggin and I'm so exited! Well I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on in our life's this month so...here goes. Melody is growing so fast and is starting to creep around the house. She looks so adorable and we are just waiting because any minute now she will start to crawl, so Emmanuel will have to start Baby proofing the house!!! That will be Fun!! lol! Another thing I wanted to share was that this was the 1st mothers day with Melody! It's great to be a mom but also very very tiring. Emmanuel took me out to eat! I'm so proud of him. This month he graduated from Cerritos Collage, he got his AA and graduated with highest honors!!That day we went out to eat to Black Angus! A week later we had a party for him at my mom's house! It was cool we had carne asada, chicken, salad, cake and we played Pin the tale on the donkey...We had some great laughs. Anyways so I will try to post monthly so that maybe one day Melody will read all of this "exiting" entries!! lol. God Bless!
